Cassendre Xavier is a former editor of Labyrinth: The Philadelphia Women's Newspaper. Sometimes writing under the name Amethyste Rah, Xavier's poetry, journalism, humorous and spiritual essays have been nationally published in literary anthologies, print and online magazines, as well as her own self-published 'zines and chapbooks.


 Once a literary event host and curator, Cassendre has judged poetry contests and slams and edited small press magazines in Philadelphia.


 Currently, Cassendre is completing a new poetry chapbook and co-editing an anthology with humor writer and stand-up comic Kelli Dunham. Kelli's already written two books published by the esteemed F.A. Davis.
